Gosh, my internship seems to be flying by. It’s been said that a year on Capitol Hill is equal to about three in the “real world.” I entirely agree. In this short half of a semester, I know that I have grown so much more mature. I don’t have much more to write about other than to advise you to try to enjoy and cherish the learning experiences that you have.

Hi gang,
So my winter break has thus far been composed of X-mas shopping, preparing for my Congressional internship, and trying to find another internship/something to do during the summer. If anyone has any ideas about the latter, I would be glad to hear some advice. (I have already heard plenty of advice about the first two.)

Wow,
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I have just been so bogged down with my extracurricular activites. As long as we are on the subject of my activities, I would like to take a moment to talk about the business school’s freshmen learning communities, the Freshmen Business Initiative (FBI.) As a peer leader for the honors section of FBI I have had the opportunity to witness the formation of a truly revolution academic experience. Students are placed in small groups to offer a more personal learning environment. (more…)

Howdy!
As you’ve probably already read, my name is Zane Schwarzlose and I am a sophomore agribusiness major from Spring Branch, Texas. Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of Spring Branch, you aren’t alone. To give you some perspective, the latest census lists my hometown population at 7283. To give you more perspective, my Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2009 is larger than this figure by well over 1000 students. (more…)
