So, I am still here in Sweden, and the snow is all gone and the weather is BEAUTIFUL!!! My little town, Jonkoping, is even more beautiful that I thought!!!!! There is a lake in the center of town –3 miles around–(I know because I run it every day)– that everyone sits around and talks while the sun beams down! All of the cafes are starting to pull out there “outdoor seating equipment” and I cannot wait to have coffee outside at one!!!! (more…)

Howdy fellow readers!
Now a month away from finals, it’s crunch time for many of us whether it be graduating and entering the real world, or looking forward to a summer of many opportunities which include: taking more courses to get ahead or stay on your degree plan, studying abroad, interning at a company, working, or just a time to finally relax from yet another hectic semester.
But before summer arrives, I would like to share with you my experience during spring break. (more…)

Howdy, y’all!
Time really does fly, or at least it seems that way to me. It feels like every time I stop to take a breath, another month has gone by. As busy as last month was however, from school to life in general, it won’t hold a candle to what’s in store for the month of April.
April is the last full month of school, and no one is more excited about seeing the semester draw to a close than I. (more…)

As you can probably tell by the title of this blog, my trip to Spain was great!!! We took two day trips while we were there; one to Toledo and one to Segovia. Both places were absolutely beautiful!!! The tour guides were very helpful and were able to answer any questions we had about the cities we were visiting or just the country as a whole. We spent most of our time in the city of Madrid which is the most populous region of Spain. Believe me when I say it “there were people everywhere” except during the siestas. (more…)

Gosh, my internship seems to be flying by. It’s been said that a year on Capitol Hill is equal to about three in the “real world.” I entirely agree. In this short half of a semester, I know that I have grown so much more mature. I don’t have much more to write about other than to advise you to try to enjoy and cherish the learning experiences that you have.

Howdy fellow readers,
I am in awe that another month has just passed. To sum up all I have done within these last 30 days, I would be writing a novel of the many things that I do each day. Time has become a precious commodity as I go into each semester, taking on more responsibilities with my role as a leader, keeping up with my studies, and all this to find my passion. I am still figuring out what my strengths and talents are and what I am made to do to contribute to the society. (more…)

Howdy, everyone!
It’s that time of year again…midterms are rearing their ugly heads. It’s a time that can set the tone for the entire semester. For some, it’s a pothole in the road to graduation that must be carefully navigated. For others, it’s a golden opportunity for redemption.
No matter how your fall semester turned out, the spring semester is the best way to either get back on the ball or keep it rolling. (more…)

Howdy Blog-Fans,
Well, LET ME TELL YOU… If you have been reading my blogs, then you know that I aspire to be an actor. This past Christmas break, I had the opportunity to be an extra on the NBC show “Friday Night Lights.” Now I don’t have lines or anything (you get paid BIG bucks, believe it or not, just for saying one line), but I was on set and in front of the camera. However, you’ll probably just briefly see my curly hair in the background or something. The first episode I make a brief appearance in airs on Wednesday, Jan. 31st, at 8/7 central. I know you probably won’t read this in time, but DON’T WORRY! You can catch my beautiful mug online because they recap all the episodes. (more…)

Hey guys,
DC is more amazing then I would have ever imagined. Just speaking with the Honorable Pete Sessions is an experience unto itself. He is seriously one of the nicest and most dedicated public servants I have ever met. In just three weeks, I have had the chance to…
See Nancy Pelosi and Dennis Hastert (more…)
