Hi! So, because this is my 1st blog, I should tell you a little about who I am.
I am from Dallas and am majoring in finance! Many of you are probably thinking about “WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO MAJOR IN” and let me assure you, don’t stress! Chances are, you are already in MAYS BUSINESS SCHOOL, so NO NEED to stress! You’ve already gotten into the business school and as many will tell you, it’s hard transferring into Mays, so congrats on already being here! (more…)

Howdy!,
As you probably already read, my name is Fernando Rivera, and I am from McAllen, Texas – proudly representing the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). I come from an area of South Texas that is predominantly made up of Hispanics and people of Mexican-American descent so you can imagine the culture shock it was coming to the “Farmers FIGHT” campus of Texas A&M University. I didn’t have much difficulty choosing A&M because I went through the “I-want-to-be-a-veterinarian/engineer/business-man phase” – like everybody else (NOT!!!). I figured that if I changed my major, I would still be at the right school. (more…)
