Just a few short weeks ago, my roommate and I went on a quest to find the perfect business suit for me. After trekking all around the fair city of College Station and an excursion to the Galleria in Houston, we found it. When I am in my suit I feel confident and powerful… and like some sort of real adult. It’s a feeling I’m only just now getting used to — after wearing my professional attire three times. (more…)

Well blog-readers, I am back on the home soil and just have one thing to say, “I AM GLAD TO BE HOME!” Don’t get me wrong; I had the time of my life, but there is no place like home. I’m going to try and give you a blog about every major city we visited, and believe me, it’s a lot to talk about!
BARCELONA – We never spent more than four days at a time in Barcelona because we traveled so much. (more…)

Howdy! My name is Mary Nguyen and I am a sophomore business major from Houston, Texas, but more importantly I am a proud member of the FIGHTIN’ TEXAS AGGIE CLASS OF 2009! A-A-A-A-A!!! This is my first blog entry so I guess I’ll tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas for most of my life, but I also lived in Greenville, South Carolina and Atlanta, Georgia for quite some time. But “Texan” breeds in my blood. I am also first generation Vietnamese American because my parents originally are from Vietnam and I speak Vietnamese at home. (more…)

Howdy folks!
My name is Eddie Lee Felder III. I’m an accounting major originally from San Antonio, TX, and a proud member of the Corps of Cadets. Most importantly, however, I’m the loudest, proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2010!
On a tamer note, I just want to say that I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to talk to you prospective Aggies about Texas A&M and Mays Business School. Though I’m only a “fish,” I believe I can be of great assistance to y’all as you decide what to do with your impending college careers. (more…)

Howdy!
As you’ve probably already read, my name is Zane Schwarzlose and I am a sophomore agribusiness major from Spring Branch, Texas. Don’t worry if you’ve never heard of Spring Branch, you aren’t alone. To give you some perspective, the latest census lists my hometown population at 7283. To give you more perspective, my Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2009 is larger than this figure by well over 1000 students. (more…)

Hello again! This is my second year to blog, and just as a refresher, I am from Dallas, Texas (WHOOP) and am majoring in Finance.
I am in the midst of a VERY EXCITING year! First, with the start of classes, my past few weeks have been nothing short of chaotic. This is because usually, by the first few days, you are expected to have read several chapters in your books. So, if you are like me (and about 99.9% of everyone else I know) then you are behind right off the bat. (more…)

Howdy! My name is Caitlin Kaluza, and I am a senior Marketing major (and Classical Studies minor with an International Business Certificate) from Coppell, Texas… but most importantly I am the proudest member of the fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2007. WHOOP!
I have been blogging since 1997 (which I share more to tell you how old I am than to impress you), and spent this summer interning at Rd2 Inc., a web design and branding company in Dallas that specializes in how next generation applications can help their clients. (more…)

I’m at the beginning of my second week of class and I am already feeling the stress building up. There’s all the rush events for my sorority (Sigma Lambda Gamma) and the endless chapters to read for class. On top of all that I try to maintain a well balanced lifestyle with excercise and fun as well as the school part. (more…)

Howdy, My name is Sasha Childers. I am a sophomore accounting major from Marlin,Tx. I come from a small town so the thought of going to such a large university was a little overwhelming for me. That was until I arrived at Texas A&M!!!
The people here are so friendly and they make you feel right at home. A&M is a school that is full of tradition and I really enjoy being a part of it; giving back to the community through campus organizations and helping new freshman in their transition from high school to college as I once was helped.
This only my second year here at A&M and I already feel like I’ve learned so many beneficial things that I could share with others. So if there are any questions or comments feel free to post them!!!
