Sweet Spot

Howdy fellow readers,

I am in awe that another month has just passed. To sum up all I have done within these last 30 days, I would be writing a novel of the many things that I do each day. Time has become a precious commodity as I go into each semester, taking on more responsibilities with my role as a leader, keeping up with my studies, and all this to find my passion. I am still figuring out what my strengths and talents are and what I am made to do to contribute to the society. (more…)

It’s that time of year again…midterms are rearing their ugly heads. It’s a time that can set the tone for the entire semester. For some, it’s a pothole in the road to graduation that must be carefully navigated. For others, it’s a golden opportunity for redemption.

Howdy Blog-Fans,

Well, LET ME TELL YOU… If you have been reading my blogs, then you know that I aspire to be an actor. This past Christmas break, I had the opportunity to be an extra on the NBC show “Friday Night Lights.” Now I don’t have lines or anything (you get paid BIG bucks, believe it or not, just for saying one line), but I was on set and in front of the camera. However, you’ll probably just briefly see my curly hair in the background or something. The first episode I make a brief appearance in airs on Wednesday, Jan. 31st, at 8/7 central. I know you probably won’t read this in time, but DON’T WORRY! You can catch my beautiful mug online because they recap all the episodes. (more…)
