I officially moved into my new apartment today. It is located on the lower Upper West side.
The location is kind of funny to me, on one side there is Julliard and the Lincoln Center. Both are gorgeous and filled with posters of ballerinas and summer performances. On the other side, is something called Amsterdam Houses. Sounds cool right ? Sounds like you might want to visit?
Well, turns out Amsterdam Houses =  government assisted living = the projects.
Well, you know what corner I will be avoiding during the night …

Anyways, tomorrow is the first day of my internship at Gucci Group’s Sergio Rossi. I am getting up bright and early at 7am. So far, I have completely no idea what to expect. My supervisor has given me no details, only a time to show up. I don’t even know what the dress code is.
I plan on wearing a gold shift dress, blank flats and a white trench coat. Hopefully that should be sufficient.

Also, I forgot how expensive things are in the city. The heat was really getting to me and I stopped by the nearest corner to get Jamba Juice … $8! Appalling! I treated myself to it, even though I am going to be broke from my unpaid internship. I thought it was well deserved after trekking crosstown from my brother’s east side apartment to mine. More trekking to do tomorrow!
