Case Competition | Center for the Management of Information Systems
Spring 2017 Case Competition will be March 30-31, 2017.
The CMIS Case Competition is an educational program offering Texas A&M students an opportunity to sharpen their analytical, presentation and teamwork skills. The competition also serves as an excellent forum for board members to interact with students in an academic setting. Students compete for scholarship funds and prizes furnished by the CMIS Advisory Board and the INFO Department. Day 1 presentations are followed by a reception where finalists will be announced. The competition ends with an awards brunch on Day 2 after the finalists present to the judges.
All participants are required to read the rules and deadlines prior to competition:
Undergraduate Student Eligibility
Students enrolled in ISYS 320 and ISYS 410 during the spring and fall semesters are required to participate in the case competition as part of the course requirements. Students compete in three person teams. Team membership is coordinated with the faculty member teaching the courses involved.
Graduate Student Participation
Six graduate teams comprised of three MS-MIS students will be randomly selected following an online registration period. Registration is now closed. The six teams will be notified of their selection to participate. Please keep your commitment to participate as cancellations are not accepted.
