Certificate in Retailing
The Certificate in Retailing complements the student’s degree and provides tangible evidence of rigorous academic and experiential preparation for a career in retailing. It is open to business majors and MS-Marketing graduate students, with academic requirements specific to each group. See our brochure.
- 12 hours of coursework with a grade of B or better in each course
Choose four of these courses:
MKTG 325: Retail Concepts and Policies
MKTG 326: Strategic Retailing
MKTG 425: Retail Merchandising
MKTG 426: Advanced Retail Case Study
MKTG 438: Strategic Digital Marketing
- 300-hour internship*
- 2 semesters (or equivalent) in the Student Retailing Association
- 3.0 overall GPA at graduation
- Forms to be completed:
*Academic elective credit is available for a pre-approved internship, however, this credit does not count toward certificate coursework
