Certificate in Sales

The Certificate in Sales complements the student’s degree and provides tangible evidence of rigorous academic and experiential preparation for a career in sales.  It is open to business majors only. See our brochure.


  • 12 hours of coursework with a grade of B or better in each course

Choose four of the required courses: 
MKTG 335  Personal Selling
MKTG 436  Sales Management
MKTG 489  Business to Business Marketing
MKTG 435  Advanced Selling
MKTG 347  Advertising & Creative Marketing Communication

Coursework substitutions require departmental approval. Certificate forms and internship for elective credit information can be found in the Marketing Advising office, Wehner 220A.
