Management Curriculum

The undergraduate management curriculum is designed to provide you with a foundation in the arts and sciences, and to expose you to the various functional areas of business.  Beyond that, you will gain the knowledge and theory of management practices, and actually experience what you learn through hands-on application in solving real-world business challenges. View the management curriculum for details about course requirements.  Elective options within the curriculum can be viewed here.

The first two years of the business curriculum are the same for all business majors.  Once you begin your junior-level business coursework, you will be taking courses that apply specifically to the management major.  As you complete required management coursework, you’ll also select from a variety of management electives.  Options include those that are relevant to a wide range of managerial applications and those that are more focused on a particular managerial specialization.  Regardless of the combination of electives you take, you will gain both breadth and depth in managerial concerns, making your knowledge and skills valuable to a variety of industries and across a spectrum of positions upon graduation.
