Prospective MGMT Majors

Classroom lectureWhy is management such an important discipline in business?  Because no matter the functional area, company, or industry, all organizations require people to make the business function successfully.  People inject the ideas, creativity, leadership, and decision making abilities that contribute to the success of an organization.

As a candidate for the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management, you will have the opportunity to gain not only management theory, but more importantly, you will practice and refine the skills that are viewed by employers to be most important in their college recruits--skills including oral and written communication, teamwork, conceptualization, planning, problem solving, risk taking, and managing conflict.

Possessing these skills, you will be amply prepared for the job search process and poised to succeed in a range of professional positions.
