Internship & Job Placement
Participating in a professional internship is central part of Mays’ MS/HRM program. This opportunity will allow you to apply what you have learned in the classroom, and you’ll get paid to do it. Internships are typically 12 weeks in length and provide you with one hour of coursework credit.
Placement
We understand the importance an internship plays in
your future career. That’s why the MS/HRM program
team is available to help students secure summer internships.
The program team serves as a liaison between HRM students and the sponsoring organizations – keeping students informed of open positions and arranging some interviewing sessions.
Hiring Organizations
Mays’ Center for Human Resource Management also
works closely with the MS/HRM program to place students
in internships and eventually in full-time positions.
In addition, the school’s Graduate
Business Career Services is a great resource for
HRM students looking for both internships and full-time
employment.
