How & When to Register
New Students
New MS/HRM students will be guided through the registration process at the program orientation, which is typically held the Wednesday prior to the first day of fall semester classes.
Continuing Students
Pre-registration for summer and fall semesters takes place
during the spring. Pre-registration for the spring semester
takes place during the fall. As pre-registration approaches,
you will be notified of the specific courses in which you
should plan to enroll.

The
online Schedule of Classes published by the Office of Admission
and Records contains a lot of important information including
the Academic Calendar, as well as online registration instructions.
The schedule will also indicate the specific dates/times you
can begin registering for classes.
The online Schedule of Classes is available at http://courses.tamu.edu. Spring course information is typically accessible in late October, while summer and fall course information is made available during late March.
Registration instructions can be found in the online Schedule of Classes or at http://register.tamu.edu.
Before you can pre-register, be sure that you don’t have any registration blocks. You will not be allowed to register if you are blocked. Blocks may be checked on MyRecord at http://myrecord.tamu.edu.

NOTE: Check and re-check you schedule and fee statement. It’s
up to you to make sure your registration is complete and accurate.
It’s also up to you to ensure that your fees have been
paid.
