David C. Mauer

Biography

Dr. Mauer is the Ruby and Earle A. Shields, Jr. ’41 Chair in Investment Advising at Texas A&M University. He has a B.B.A. from the University of Iowa (1982) and a Ph.D. from Purdue University (1986). He has won numerous awards for teaching and research. Dr. Mauer’s research has appeared in Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Business, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and Information Systems Research.
