Biography
Dr. Belliveau teaches and does research in organizational behavior. Her recent research addresses the influence of social capital and gender on pay, and the role of procedural justice in compensation decision-making. Her work has been published in Academy of Management Journal and Journal of Social Issues, as well as a number of edited volumes.Professor Belliveau is a member of the Academy of Management, the American Psychological Association, and American Sociological Association. Prior to joining Texas A&M;, she was a faculty member at Duke University. During her tenure as a strategy consultant prior to entering academe, her clients included leading steel, banking, and industrial supply firms, as well as technology start-ups.
