James W. Kolari
Biography
Professor Kolari has taught financial markets and institutions since earning his Ph.D. in 1980. Previously a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago in 1982 and a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Helsinki and Bank of Finland in 1986, he has been a consultant to the U.S. Small Business Administration, American Bankers Association, Independent Bankers Association of America, U.S. Information Agency, and numerous banks and other organizations. Professor Kolari has published over 50 refereed articles, 8 co-authored books, and numerous monographs. His papers have appeared in such domestic and international journals as the <em>Journal of Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance</em>, and the <em>Scandanavian Journal of Economics</em>.
