Marietta Joan Tretter

Biography

Dr. Tretter has conducted research on statistical computational issues, as well as on topics involving numerical methods. She has also developed strong expertise in the use of personal computing systems, including the Internet. Her work has appeared in journals such as Management Science, Operations Research, Math Programming, and the Annals of Statistics. She authored a best-selling book on using the Internet. Her research interests are related to aspects of GIS, Data Mining, Computational Finance, Neural Networks, and Software Engineering.
