Theresa M. Phinney

Biography

Before joining the Accounting Department in Fall 2005, Ms. Phinney lectured and served as an undergraduate advisor in the Computer Science Department, College of Engineering at A&M from 1985 - 1993 and in the Informations and Operations Mgmt. Department from 1999 - 2005. Ms. Phinney's courses have included Pascal, FORTRAN, Data Structures, Assembly Language, Intro to Business Programming (Visual Basic) and Object-Oriented Programming in Business (C++ and Java languages). Before teaching, Ms. Phinney was a programmer/analyst for state agencies - dealing primarily with accounting and inventory systems. She is currently teaching Accounting 427 - Accounting Information Systems.
