Biography

Richard H. Lester is currently a clinical associate professor and Executive Director of The Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in the Department of Management at Texas A&M University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Strategic Management from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. His current research interests focus on corporate governance, upper echelons, and entrepreneurship. Prior to his academic career Richard spent 25 years in primarily oil and gas related firms. His last corporate position was Vice President General Manager in Houston, Texas.
