Biography
Dr. Fields joined the Finance faculty at Texas A&M; in 1994. Her research, which involves issues ranging from capital structure to corporate governance, has appeared in a number of scholarly journals, including the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and the Journal of Financial Research. Dr. Fields teaches corporate finance at the undergraduate, Master's, and doctoral levels. She has been recognized for outstanding teaching at the College level and the University level. Dr. Fields serves as the Finance department's Ph.D. advisor.Education
