Biography
Brad Harris is currently a fourth year Ph.D. student and teaches "The Management Process" (MGMT 363) and "Managing Human Resources" (MGMT 373) at the Mays Business School. Brad enjoys being in the classroom and constantly strives to prepare his students for success.
In addition to teaching, Brad is also an active researcher. Brad's research interests include examining what makes team leaders effective, exploring the socialization of organizational newcomers, and evaluating interpersonal processes in employment interviews. To date, Brad's work has been accepted at the Journal of Applied Psychology and presented at several national and international management conferences. A driving part of Brad's research is a desire to understand how and why people influence one another for good in organizations.
Brad is also active in several professional organizations, including the Academy of Management (AoM), the Society of Industrial-Organizational Psychology (SIOP), and the Southern Management Association (SMA).
Prior to beginning doctoral studies at Texas A&M, Brad worked in the banking, non-profit, and retail energy industries.
