Susan B. Fiechtner

Biography

Dr. Fiechtner's teaching and research in both graduate and undergraduate courses has been concentrated in the areas of leadership, conflict resolution strategies, interpersonal communication, decision making and public speaking skills. Dr. Fiechtner was nominated by her students and fellow faculty members for the Association of Former Students Distinguished Teaching Award in 1995, 1999, and 2001. She has also been chosen as one of only six professors campus-wide to serve in the Texas A&M University faculty teaching academy.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Fiechtner has delivered hundreds of seminars to business professionals across the United States. Her client list includes organizations such as Tenneco, Halliburton, Walt Disney, American Airlines, Dell Computers, AT&T, and Kodak.
