Diane C. McDonald
From 2015-2017, Diane C. McDonald served as the Director of Marketing, Communications & PR at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School. She was responsible for designing and leading the implementation of an effective overall marketing and communications plan in support of Mays strategic goals. She also leads a team responsible for marketing, public media relations, alumni relations and internal and external communications.
She has served for 10 years at Texas A&M University and The Texas A&M University System, most recently as the Executive Director of Digital Media. She also served as Executive Director of Marketing and Social Media for Texas A&M University, where she helped develop marketing campaigns such as the 2012 Heisman Trophy Winner.Her work has been featured in publications and websites such as Forbes.com, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inside Higher Ed, Campus Technology, University Business and more.
Prior to becoming a Texan, McDonald served as Interim Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN. She also served as a Marketing Specialist and Campus Site Director for John Brown University and Marketing Program Manager with Rheem Manufacturing, Inc. She earned an MBA and B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
