Priyanka Dwivedi has joined the faculty at Texas A&M’s Management department as an Assistant Professor this fall. She received her PhD in Management and Organization at Pennsylvania State University. Prior to pursuing her doctorate, she graduated with an MBA from the Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University and her Master’s in Psychology from the University of Delhi, India. Her research focuses on the micro-foundations of strategy and examines the socio-cognitive and affective mechanisms that shape the behavior of strategic leaders and influence firm outcomes. So far she has examined her interests in the context of gender and diversity in the upper echelons. Her dissertation, focusing on CEO emotion regulation, was selected as a finalist for the INFORMS Best Dissertation Competition in 2016, and her research has been published in the Academy of Management Journal.
