Rich Metters is the Tenneco Professor of Management at the Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. He holds a PhD from the Kenan-Flagler Business School, University of North Carolina, an MBA from Duke University and a BA from Stanford University. He has also worked at Emory University, Vanderbilt University, Southern Methodist University, Bank of America, CitiBank, and Crocker Bank. He has previously published over 40 academic articles and is the principal author of the textbook Successful Service Operations Management. In his research, he has worked with Kroger, Blockbuster Video, the US Postal Service, Lincoln Electric Motors, American Airlines, and many other firms.
