MBA Venture Challenge

The Venture Challenge (formerly known as the Tech Transfer Challenge) is an integral part of the Mays Full-Time MBA Program that asks teams of MBA students to assess the commercial viability of an existing firm, which is based upon research at Texas A&M. Each firm has solid intellectual property and a CEO moving the firm forward. MBA students will deliver a 2 minute elevator pitch as well as a 15 minute “venture pitch” presentation to judges from the business and academic community.

Each spring, the Ideas Challenge asks students from across campus, "What is your big idea?" We challenge everyone from freshmen to doctoral students to dream up the next great product or service and enter their big idea in this campus-wide competition.
Members of the business and academic worlds judge each submission and the top 40 are named finalists. On judging day, the finalists present their concept to judges from the business community who also pepper them with questions.
