Mays Business School at Texas A&M University invites applications for faculty positions at all ranks. Must be well grounded in research methodology and committed to effective teaching. PhD is required. A strong interest in teaching at the BBA, MBA, and PhD level is essential; a proven record in teaching and research is desirable. Department of Finance

The Department of Finance invites applications for assistant, associate or full professor positions to begin August 2010. All specialties within finance will be considered. Candidates at the assistant professor level should have high research potential and earned their doctorate in finance or a closely related discipline. Senior candidates should have a demonstrated ability to publish and continue publishing in leading journals. Other qualifications include: ability to work and effectively place doctoral students at quality institutions, willingness to collaborate with other faculty members in the department, and demonstrated teaching effectiveness.

Department of Management

Management is seeking one candidate in the strategic management, entrepreneurships, and international business areas and another in HR management or organizational behavior at the assistant and associate professor levels. Individuals with capabilities required to produce scholarly research and provide scholarly teaching in any of the two areas of interest will be given preference.

Department of Marketing

The Department of Marketing at Mays is seeking candidates for two tenure-track faculty positions – an entry level position and a senior position. For the entry level tenure-track faculty position at the rank of assistant professor, starting in fall 2010, applications will be considered for all areas of specialization in marketing. Candidates should possess demonstrated potential for excellence in scholarly research. Successful candidates should have completed their Ph.D. by August 15, 2010. Salary and teaching load (three courses per academic year for tenure-track faculty and tenured faculty who consistently maintain a high level of research productivity) are competitive with leading research universities.

Mays also invites applications from qualified faculty with a specialization in the area of consumer behavior for consideration for appointment at the rank of full professor or associate professor.  Applicants with outstanding research records and currently holding the rank of assistant professor may also apply for consideration for appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor.   Candidates should have an established record of excellence in research the area of consumer behavior.  Other qualifications include: ability to work with and effectively place doctoral students at peer and aspirant institutions, willingness to collaborate with other faculty members in the consumer behavior area in the department and demonstrated teaching effectiveness.  The position is open for fall 2010.
