On behalf of the marketing department at Mays Business School, I want to thank you for visiting our website. It contains many pages we hope will provide you with the information you need quickly and efficiently. Whether you are a current Mays student, or a prospective Aggie interested in one of the three marketing degrees we offer (bachelor's, master's, PhD), there are sections with information just for you. Parents, recruiters, faculty from other universities and others are also likely to find helpful information here about our people and programs.
Like many things in Texas, we are a big department with approximately 25 faculty, 500 undergraduate marketing majors, 60 Master of Science in Marketing students, and 14 doctoral students. Our many different classes and special programs are all designed to help our students appreciate the central role customer loyalty plays in an organization’s success.
As a group that is charged with boundary spanning tasks, marketing executives are responsible for listening to their customers, keeping their finger on the pulse of the marketplace, using what they learn to develop products and services that meet (and exceed) customer needs, and staying in touch to keep customers satisfied. More than anything else, modern marketing is about developing innovative solutions to customer problems and taking better care of your customers than your competitors do. Our classes and programs are designed to provide our students with the tools and skills they need to be customer-oriented business leaders who are ethically sensitive and globally aware.
