Graduating? Here's What You Need to Do

Visit graduation.tamu.edu/ to apply for graduation, and pay the graduation fee before the posted deadline.

Check your degree audit to make sure you have met the degree requirements.

It is the student’s responsibility to check his/her degree audit and to complete all academic requirements of their selected major. Declared upper-level business majors can access their degree audit using MyRecord (go to "Degree Evaluation") through the Howdy web portal.

For questions regarding the tuition rebate, please contact Student Business Services:
Phone: (979) 847-3337
E-mail: sbs@tamu.edu

What if I am taking less than 12 hours during my graduating semester?

Students who are enrolled in less than 12 hours (full-time status) for their graduating semester may have problems with receiving insurance benefits and/or financial aid.  It is the student’s responsibility to find out if they can be enrolled in less than 12 hours to receive these benefits.

Texas A&M grants full-time status to students enrolled in less than 12 hours during their graduating semester.  Students have to check their degree audit first to make sure they are cleared for graduation.  If they are not, then they will need to contact a MKTG advisor to fill out the appropriate paperwork.  Once they are cleared, they will need to send an e-mail to records@tamu.edu from their TAMU e-mail account only and request full-time status recognition.

How do I check my degree audit?

If all requirements have been met, then you are cleared for graduation.

If all requirements have not been met, then you will need to meet with a MKTG advisor to fill out adjustment paperwork for classes that have not been captured by Howdy or find a class that will meet that requirement.
