MS/HRM Admissions
Process and requirements
We know the admission process can sometimes be a confusing and hectic one. That’s why we have outlined step-by-step what you should do to apply to the MS/HRM program.
Typically, once all of the completed applications are submitted (by March 1), we begin reviewing applications. We normally begin the notification process in April.
If you have any questions while completing your application, please feel free to email the MS/HRM program at MS-HRM@mays.tamu.edu.
What’s required
Applicants are typically admitted to the MS/HRM program in the fall semester only.
To be eligible for admission to the MS/HRM program, applicants must meet Texas A&M University’s admissions requirements. Items considered for admission to Texas A&M include:
- Holding a four-year baccalaureate degree or higher from a college or university of recognized standing. Degrees from institutions outside the United States are evaluated for equivalency to U.S. degrees.
- NOTE: The Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor of Science degrees from India and Pakistan are 3 year programs and are not considered equivalent to the U.S. bachelor’s degree. If you hold one of these 3-year degrees, you are not eligible for admission to a graduate program. The master’s degree is the minimum qualification for admissions to graduate and professional degree programs. Exceptions are the 16-year bachelor’s degrees and postgraduate diploma programs.
- GRE or GMAT score
- Transcript from all institutions attended
- Grade Point Ratio (GPR) from the last 60 hours of coursework

Verifying credentials
Note: If your acceptance has been partially based on self-report and/or unofficial credentials, these must be substantiated by official credentials before your enrollment at Texas A&M. If a substantial discrepancy exists within any of your credentials, your acceptance may be revoked and your enrollment permanently blocked.
