MS/HRM Degree Audit Information

If you have an approved degree plan on file, you can use MyRecord, the online student information system, to view your Analysis of Academic Progress (or degree audit). This gives you an up-to-date overview of the degree plan and degree requirements.

How to view your degree audit:

  1. At myrecord.tamu.edu, log in using your NetID and password.
  2. Enter the Current Students section and link to the Degree Audit Request.
  3. Refer to the academic program on the left side of the screen and enter a P (primary) to select your program. Press return.
  4. If there is not a degree plan on file with the OGS, nothing will happen. For students with degree plans, an analysis will appear.
  5. You can page through the analysis by pressing return. You can view courses remaining, and courses that have been completed or are in progress.
  6. When you are finished, always remember to quit the audit and completely sign off MyRecord to protect your student information.

Description of the degree audit

The header lists the degree, major and option of the current degree plan and the date it was filed. The GPR description lists the current graduate GPR and degree plan GPR.

Section 1: Contains general information on academic requirements yet to be fulfilled. This includes courses on the plan that have not been taken, as well as the number of hours of specifically limited courses that can be added to the current degree plan on file.

Section 2: Includes courses on the degree plan that have been completed or are in progress.

Section 3: Lists upper-level undergraduate and graduate coursework not on the degree plan, which is completed or in progress.

Reminder: The degree audit program is operable only for students who have an approved degree plan on file with the Office of Graduate Studies.
