Aggies on Wall Street
Mays Business School’s Aggies on Wall Street program gives students the opportunity to experience the major financial market in the U.S. firsthand. The three-credit hour course is open to both undergraduate and graduate students across campus and is conducted in New York City over a two-week period in early summer.
Banking Program
The Banking Program is a flagship academic program in the Department of Finance designed to equip students with the banking and finance skills needed to transition to banking careers and serve the personnel needs of banking organizations in the state of Texas and the United States.
Business Fellows Program
Mays Business Fellows participate in a semester of rigorous development and testing, featuring weekly seminars, team-building exercises and real world experiences. Throughout, Fellows explore, discover, ponder, learn, confront, transform and grow—as future ethical business leaders and as people—forming connections that will serve them throughout their personal and professional lives. One of the premier professional development programs at Texas A&M, the Business Fellows Program opens a door into the wider world and prepares students to take their place in it.
Business Honors Program
The BBA in Business Honors degree is available only to students admitted to Mays Business Honors. Business Honors is both a program and a major; students apply during their senior year of high school for admission as an incoming freshman or during the spring of their freshman year to enter the program as a sophomore. The business honors major prepares students to begin careers in all fields of business or to continue on to a graduate program or professional school.
Professional Program
The Professional Program offers students the opportunity to become a highly skilled professional ready to handle the challenges of a changing marketplace. Upon completion of the two-and-a-half-year program, students earn a BBA degree in accounting and a Master of Science degree in accounting, finance, management information systems, or marketing/e-commerce.
Trading, Risk & Investments Program
The Trading, Risk & Investments Program prepares students in the fields of trading, investments and risk management by combining exceptional class instruction with hands-on internship-based experience. Students graduate having completed three internships with either an undergraduate degree (BBA Finance) or a combined undergraduate and master’s degree (MS Finance and BBA Finance).
