James Dixey

Jim Dixey has more than 30 years of management experience in operations, administration, customer service and human resources. He has worked with Pan Am, Northwest Airlines and The Perry Group, an aerospace and aviation consulting firm. Jim was also a management professor at Purdue University and assistant dean for career services at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s in organizational development.

Lisa King most recently served as a senior human resources representative with the Texas A&M University System’s agriculture program. Prior to that role, she was director of human resources for a food service distributor in Honolulu, Hawaii. Lisa has more than eight years of experience as a human resources generalist and has worked in government contracting, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and non-profit. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a concentration in English literature from the University of Hawaii – West Oahu and a master’s degree in human resources administration from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania.

Cindy manages all career management events and advising for the Master’s students in Marketing, Human Resources Management, and Land Economics and Real Estate in Mays Business School. Before joining GBCS in 2004, Cindy held the position of financial and student services coordinator in Mays’ Center for Retailing Studies. She has nearly 16 years experience in career advising and promoting the retailing industry to college students. Cindy has also worked with numerous organizations in the development internship programs. She is a member of the Alliances and Partnership Committee with the National Association of Colleges and Employers and the USA Faculty Advisory Board for Students in Free Enterprise. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology from Texas A&M University.


Sarah Minnis

Sarah Minnis has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Master of Arts in Education specializing in student affairs. She conducted research and worked in biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has extensive experience counseling and advising college students at institutions of higher education around the country, most recently at the University of Washington in Seattle. She‚s worked in human resources, employee development, and employer relations in the Seattle staffing industry and has experience with well-known companies like Amazon.com and Microsoft as well as numerous smaller firms and medical organizations. In addition, she has owned her own career consulting company since 2003 where she has focused on helping working adults hone their resume writing, interview preparation, and job search skills.


Lori Donnell

Lori joined GBCS from the Department of Finance where she worked with Prof. David Blackwell on programs such as the Finance Advisory Board and Aggies on Wall Street programs. Prior to coming to Texas A&M she, along with her husband, managed a ranch in Colorado for several years. Lori has earned both a Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Animal Science.
