Energy Accounting Certification (Undergraduate)

The Energy Accounting Certificate offers Mays BBA students a chance to set themselves apart and find a place in an exciting, competitive industry that provides a wide variety of opportunities – including international experiences. The program is designed to give students high impact learning experiences related to the energy industry.

Marketing Certifications (Undergraduate and Graduate)

The Department of Marketing offers Certificates in Advertising, Retailing and Sales to BBA students and graduate students. All requirements must be completed prior to graduation. A certificate program notation will be added to the transcript after graduation.

International Certifications (Undergraduate and Graduate)

Mays Business School offers a variety of international certification programs. Each program offers Mays students pursuing a BBA, BS (Agribusiness), MBA or MS degree the opportunity to study international business and develop understanding of other cultures and language to meet global business challenges.

Students pursuing any one of these certifications must complete all requirements for the specific program prior to graduation. Students are encouraged to plan early and select courses based on consultation with their academic advisor. Graduate students should meet with their MBA or MS program advisor. Entrepreneurship Certification (Undergraduate and Graduate)

The Certificate in Entrepreneurial Leadership offers Mays students seeking a BBA or BS (Agribusiness) and graduate students the opportunity to study entrepreneurship in a focused set of courses. Designed to develop competencies needed to successfully create and manage new ventures or to be a driver of innovation within existing enterprises, emphasis is placed on leadership in three areas: conceiving, exploiting, and managing opportunities.

Not-for-Profit Business Certificate (Undergraduate)

The Certificate in Not-For-Profit Business offers Mays students seeking a BBA or BS (Agribusiness) degree the ability to tailor their education towards a career of service. Students who complete this certificate will have a greater understanding of the not-for-profit sector.
