What are the requirements to become a business student?
Requirements are listed on the Enrollment Management section of the Undergraduate Program Office (UPO) web page.
How can I see an advisor?
Lower-level business students (BUAD, BUAG) receive advising from academic advisors in the UPO, 238 Wehner. The academic advisors and graduate assistants of the UPO are available to serve all business freshmen and sophomores. You are encouraged to meet regularly with an advisor.

Where can I get a degree audit?
Upper-level business student degree audits can be viewed and printed using the Howdy Web Portal. Students classified as BUAD/BUAG can request an audit for their expected major using the "What If Analysis" feature.
What are the requirements for undergraduate minor in business?
Requirements are listed in the Minor in Business section of the Mays website.
How important are co-ops and internships?
Internships and cooperative education (co-ops) will boost your potential. Both provide students on-the-job experience in a variety of business sectors and industries, and boost your potential. The majority of Mays undergraduate students participate in internships or co-ops before graduation. How do I know which courses I can transfer to Texas A&M University?
The transfer of course credit is determined by the Office of Admissions on a course-by-course basis. Acceptance of transfer of credit is generally limited to those courses taught in the freshman and sophomore years at Texas A&M and the Texas Common Course Numbering System (TCCNS) has been designed for the purpose of aiding students in the transfer of general academic courses between colleges and universities.
Business students are instructed to have all transfer course credit (including correspondence, dual enrollment and credit-by-exam) posted to their Texas A&M transcript before the first class day of their graduating semester. Has my transcript arrived?
The Office of Admissions (local in the General Services Complex, 750 Agronomy Road, College Station, Texas) receives and posts all transcripts. You can check on the Howdy Web Portal to see if your transcript has been received. Contact Transfer Admissions about any transcript-related questions at (979) 845-1060.
How can I receive the Certificate in International Business or European Union Business or Latin American Business?
Students pursuing any one of the international certification programs must complete all requirements for the specific program prior to graduation. Interested students are responsible for planning early and often to complete the requirements.
To receive transcript certification, you must complete the appropriate application available at the UPO, 238 Wehner, during your graduating semester.
Does Mays have any scholarships for undergraduate students?
Mays offers a variety of scholarships for sophomores, juniors and seniors
What is the difference between GPR and GPA?
There is no difference. Texas A&M uses the terms GPR ("grade point ratio") and GPA ("grade point average") interchangeably.
How do I calculate my Texas A&M and transfer GPRs?

Will a "D" transfer to Texas A&M?

What do I need to do before I graduate?
Requirements for Graduation are available in the Business Student Handbook. You must apply for graduation at the beginning of your final semester at Texas A&M.
What GPR must I maintain to continue enrollment in Mays Business School?

Who do I talk to if I want to get on the wait list for a class?

How many hours does it take to be a full-time student?
- Fall/Spring - at least 12 hours
- Summer, 5 weeks - at least 4 hours
- Summer, 10 weeks - at least 8 hours
Can I take classes at Texas A&M and Blinn College at the same time?
Yes, students may enroll in classes concurrently at Texas A&M and Blinn College. Students are advised to use the TCCNS to choose direct Texas A&M course equivalents. International students (F-1) must see an International Student Services advisor for permission to co-enroll.
What are the requirements for getting into the upper level?
