Undergraduate Academic Advising

Academic advising is provided to business students according to lower-level or upper-level status.

Who is your academic advisor?

Lower-level business students (BUAD, BUAG) receive advising from academic advisors in the Undergraduate Program Office (UPO), 238 Wehner. The academic advisors and graduate assistants of the UPO are available to serve all business freshmen and sophomores.

You are encouraged to meet regularly with an advisor. Although you are not assigned to a specific advisor, you may request to meet with the advisor of your choice.

Upper-level business students in a declared major (ACCT, AGBU, BHNR, FINC, INFO-MIS, INFO-SUP, MGMT, MKTG) receive advising from academic advisors in their specific department. See the following department list for your upper level academic advisor:

Office Hours

The Undergraduate Program Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., excluding university holidays. Advising is available by appointment or on a walk-in basis.

Walk-In Advising - Fall and Spring Semesters
Available on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.. Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
