What extracurricular activities were you involved in at Texas A&M?
PREP (Freshman Leadership Organization)
FBI peer leader for two years (for both Dr. Musoma and Mr. Johnson)
CSCMP Project Manager
Business Student Council VP of Career Fair
Fellows Group XXXIIIDid you participate in an internship? I completed two internships. In the summer of 2014, I worked at Devon Energy. There, I created a systematic process for retiring obsolete vendors who were in the vendor master list and ran a pilot test to demonstrate performance. In the summer of 2015, I interned at Chevron creating an end-to-end purchase order process for my particular department in an effort to employ a singular method. I also performed a spend analysis which unveiled how much money we spent, with how many vendors, and on what materials. What was your favorite Supply Chain Management course at Texas A&M? Dr. Koufteros’ SCMT 335 (Sourcing and Procurement) was awesome because it gave me a real world example of BP’s pipe yard, and giving me that in a team setting was invaluable. What do you feel was the most beneficial course you took?  MGMT 466 (Strategic Management) because it taught me how to think strategically and what it is that I most value, and FINC 341 (Business Finance) because I will inevitably deal with personal finances in the near future.

Any specific advice you would give to current Supply Chain Management students?  Go big oil or Deloitte S&O consulting, learn Excel and SAP before entering the work force, and enjoy college to the max!
