Summer Exchanges

Students participating in individual experiences through a provider or exchange partner are permitted to go as long as the host university or partner has confirmed that it is operational, and with the understanding that they do so at their own risk. Any financial loss incurred because of travel or health issues related to COVID-19 will not be reimbursed by Education Abroad or Texas A&M University.

For more information regarding COVID-19 and the status of education abroad programs, please refer to the Education Abroad COVID-19 Updates website.

Typically offered during the semester, these special summer programs take place at exchange partner schools. Students travel on their own to the destination and the course is facilitated by the host university in English. Courses are considered “in-residence” and students receive transfer credit.

Application period: November 1 – February 1.
The deadline for the university wide scholarship is February 1.
