Italy Business Faculty-Led

Travel to Italy with a base in Florence for 4 weeks with Management Professors Ken McFarland and Mark Schwartz and earn 6 credit hours of course work!
Students will develop cross-cultural communication skills and gain valuable on-site knowledge of the challenges and opportunities of conducting business in Italy’s business environment. This program incorporates corporate and institutional visits and group cultural excursions in Florence, Rome, Venice, and Milan, Italy.

Timeline
November 1, 2021
Program application deadline. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Students will be notified of program acceptance through their A&M email address.
Confirm Participation
Once acceptance email has been received, the selected participant must return to their Education Abroad Portal application and confirm their participation or withdraw their application by the CIBS deadline.
Confirmed participants must pay the $500 administrative fee accessible through Howdy. Failure to pay the deposit by the CIBS deadline indicated in the acceptance email will result in withdrawal from the program.
The remaining program charges will be billed during the spring 2022 semester and tuition for the course will be billed in May 2022. Installment plans can be utilized if enrolled before the SBS deadline.
January 2022
Students must pay the program fee of $3,700.
February – April 2022
Students must attend all mandatory pre-departure meetings to discuss program details and prepare for your global experience. Meeting details will be shared via email.
February 1, 2022
University-Wide Scholarship application deadline for winter programs (applications open on October 15, 2021). Visit uwide.tamu.edu to apply to all eligible scholarships.
If your FAFSA is current, you may request an Education Abroad Financial Aid Request Form from CIBS and meet with the Scholarships & Financial Aid office to request financial aid for the program.
Mid-February 2022
Students must pay the roundtrip airfare fee of approximately $1,500.
May 2022
Students must pay A&M tuition fees for 6 credit hours. Failure to pay fees by A&M deadline will result in being dropped from the courses by the Registrar’s Office.

Depart for Italy! Study international business and business law and discover how to conduct business in the European Union through classroom instruction, corporate visits, in-country projects and activities, and cultural excursions in four Italian cities.
