MIS Information Session and Career Night

What does MIS mean and what types of jobs can you get after graduation?

Many students come to Mays and don’t know which major will help make them successful. The MIS Information Session and Career Night answers questions and myths about the major, courses, and the abundance of careers available to our graduates.

Presentations about CMIS, Student Services, and ISTM courses are shared with attendees. A keynote speaker, usually a CIO or leader in the information systems field, will talk about their experiences and the growth of the industry.

Recent TAMU MIS graduates and current seniors host a panel to discuss their careers and internships and what is it like to work in the MIS field.

The Spring 2020 MIS Information Session and Career Night was cancelled due to COVID-19 precautions. The next MIS Career Night will occur on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
