Student Retailing Association

The SRA strives to increase awareness of internships and careers available, facilitate communication and contact between students and retailing professionals, and provide students with assets to thrive in the business world.

Previous speakers have included H-E-B, The Container Store, PetSmart, Target, Walmart, Nordstrom, and Midway.

Along with company meetings, we also host socials throughout the semester to allow our members the opportunity to get to know each other better. Each semester we focus on one philanthropy project in an effort to give back to the community.

Additionally, our members have multiple opportunities for travel including but not limited to: New York Fashion Week, Private Label Manufacturing Association tradeshow in Chicago, National Retail Federation Student Program in New York, New York City Market Tour over spring break, as well as local and regional store tours and HQ meetings.

Members also have exclusive opportunities to network one-on-one with recruiters at the Retailing Career Fair during the fall and spring semesters by hosting visiting companies and volunteering during the event.

Students who are active members in the Student Retailing Association will earn 100 points per semester towards the Professional Distinction in Retailing.
