Howdy! My name is Madeline Bookout, and I am a sophomore Marketing major and New Media Art minor here at A&M. My hometown is a suburb of Dallas called Coppell, and I am one of six kids in my fun, crazy family. I decided to join the Comm Lab team because I wanted to serve my peers in Mays by helping them develop their professional voice while simultaneously learning from them.  I spend my small amount of spare time reading, creating graphic designs, developing my photography skills, and playing strategy board games. My favorite place to travel to is Colorado because I adore the mountains and skiing. The next two adventures I plan to take are visiting Yosemite and Yellowstone. I look forward to seeing you all in the Comm Lab!

Hi! My name is Marina Baez, and I’m a sophomore marketing major from Sugar Land, Texas. I love working at the Comm Lab because it combines my love of reading, writing, and drawing smiley faces with a maroon pen. I also enjoy playing guitar and singing, preferably at the same time. If you come visit me in the Comm Lab, ask what book I’m currently reading. The answer will be different every time or your money back guaranteed.

Zhi Lee

Consultant Since 2018

Howdy! My name is Zhi Lee. I’m a junior MIS student with a minor in economics from Katy, TX. Something interesting about me, that not everyone knows, is that I lived in China for a couple of years during the start of my childhood. Growing up, I became fluent in English by reading books. I loved all types, but my absolute favorite was anything involving animals (like Aesop’s Fables). I find that this love still persists to this day which eventually led me to becoming a consultant at the Comm Lab. When people come in to speak with me, I turned into a reader again. Clients share information about themselves, giving me a glimpse into their story and personal journey. Every one of them is unique, and I adore them all. Speaking of adoration, I’m also a devoted member of the fish-keeping hobby.
