Speed Networking and MIS Mixer

The Fall 2022 Speed Networking and MIS Mixer event was held Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

CMIS Speed NetworkingSPEED NETWORKING: To train undergraduate students how to market themselves and interact with corporate representatives, CMIS hosts the annual Speed Networking sessions in September. Equal groups of students and industry members are paired for seven-minute sessions, allowing participating students to meet every company in attendance. Rotating tables, students were able to ask company representatives about their corporate culture, hiring standards, and how to stand out among the competition. A GPA of 3.25 is needed to participate in this annual fall event, just before the Mays Career Fair.

MIS MIXER: Following the speed networking event, all MIS students are invited to attend a mixer for an opportunity to network with company representatives. These events occur only in the fall semester.
