Biography

As the Engagement Manager for the Center for Executive Development (CED), I’m responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Center’s engagement and marketing efforts. I’ve always enjoyed connecting people to other people, resources and ideas in authentic and meaningful ways. I love that my job gives me the ability to do this and make an impact in both individuals and organizations.

I have more than a decade of progressive experience in event, marketing and program management. Prior to joining CED, I spent six years as the Assistant Director of Southern Methodist University’s (SMU) Temerlin Advertising Institute in Dallas, Texas. In this role I provided strategic and administrative oversight of the Institute’s academic and executive-focused programs, served as a liaison between campus and industry partners, and coordinated special events and programs. I’ve also served as an account manager for an association management company in Houston, Texas, and as a study abroad advisor for Texas A&M University. My path has zigged and zagged a few times, but I wouldn’t trade it. The journey has been more interesting!

I hold a BA in Communication from Texas A&M University, and a Master’s with a concentration in Organizational Dynamics from Southern Methodist University.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and wild energetic kids. You can often find me on Pinterest, decorating, searching for real estate, reading, traveling, eating and enjoying the outdoors.
