Boone Bowles

Dr. Bowles is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School. Prior to joining Texas A&M, Dr. Bowles earned his Ph.D in Finance from the University of North Carolina. While at Carolina, Dr. Bowles studied the impact of institutional constraints on information acquisition activity and conducted research regarding the timing of anomaly returns.

Dr. Bowles received B.S. and M.S. degrees in economics and finance from Utah State University.  He was also employed as a credit analyst for a community bank where he worked closely with small business owners, real estate developers, farmers, and ranchers (the latter of which he enjoyed discussing cattle and horses).
