Biography
Cynthia Billington is the director of alumni & corporate engagement at Mays Business School where she develops engagement initiatives for former students and corporate partners. She was the 2021-22 Chairperson for the Texas A&M University Staff Council.
From 2021-2022, she served as the interim director for the Career Management Center in Mays Business School.
A certified Strengths Coach, Professional Career Coach, Employment Interviewer and Resume Writer designee, Billington has more than 30 years of experience at Mays. She created and implemented the career coaching and education program for the Master of Science students, then transitioned to MBA career coaching before accepting her current role.
Billington is a past board member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers, where she has served in numerous leadership positions since 2002 and is a past board member for the Association for Business School Alumni Professionals. She currently serves as a Board Member for the Aggie Women Network.
She is a three-time recipient of the Mays Business School Outstanding Staff Award (two individual awards and one team award) and received the 2011 Texas A&M University President’s Meritorious Service Award. She has been an executive volunteer with the Prison Entrepreneurship Program since 2005 and the Empowering Women Out of Prison program since 2022. Cindy was also a 2000 TAMU Fish Camp Namesake.
