Corey D. Stone
Corey Stone is a Program Coordinator for the Office of Diversity & Inclusion at Mays Business School. He earned his BBA in Business Honors and Information and Operations Management from Mays Business School in 2013 and his MS in Higher Education Administration through Texas A&M University’s College of Education and Human Development in 2019. He has previous work experience with Credera, Teach for America, and Medical Missions Outreach.
Corey’s work is primarily focused on undergraduate access and inclusion, overseeing undergraduate recruitment and serving as learning community coordinator for the Regents’ Ambassador Program (RAP) learning community for first-generation college students. In his work with RAP, Corey leads the Global Challenge Spring Break Field Trip to Little Rock, Arkansas and the Global Leadership Field Trip to Paris and London. Additionally, Corey serves as program manager for the Mays Transformational Leadership Academy (MTLA), a staff director for the Leadership Initiative Conference (LINC), and a student organization advisor for Freshmen Reflecting While Developing (FRWD) and Black Wall Street (BWS).
In 2017, he was recognized as a Namesake for Fish Camp Session B Blue. In 2015, he was recognized by Mays Business School with the Star Performer Award. As an undergraduate student, Corey was actively involved in Christian Business Leaders (CBL) and remains connected to the CBL Alumni Network. Corey attends services at St. Andrews Episcopal in Bryan, Texas.
Corey grew up in the small East Texas town of Henderson. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, photography, and keeping up with current events and pop culture. Corey passionately roots for the Aggies and Cowboys. He lives in Bryan, Texas with his Labrador-mix Leia.
