Biography

Farshid Abdi is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. Professor Abdi’s research is in the areas of Empirical Asset Pricing, Empirical Market Microstructure, and Fintech. Professor Abdi holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and an M.Sc. degree in Financial Engineering from the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). He has also been a Visiting Scholar at NYU Stern School of Business.
