Ph.D. Student in Marketing
Fangfei Guo is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Marketing at Mays Business School. She holds an M.S. in Business Analytics and Project Management from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. in Business Administration Management from University of International Business and Economics. Prior to pursuing a Ph.D. degree, she worked for IMS Health, a leading market research and consulting company with a global footprint. As an analyst, she led several market research projects. Through projects on brand awareness and competitive intelligence, she learned how to interpret and analyze consumer intention, attitudes, awareness, and behavior with quantitative analysis. All these experiences motivate her to become a world-class academic who creates and disseminates knowledge through research and teaching. Her current research focuses on product recall and its spillover effect on competitors, fee-based membership program, online shopping behavior. She is also interested in structural modeling and consumer dynamic choice.
