Gail Boyd Rogers
Clinical Assistant Professor
Biography
About me …
I am a scholarly academic with more than 30 years’ industry practitioner background and experience. My career has spanned the full spectrum of Human Resources, including organizational development, strategic human resource planning, change management, talent management, diversity practices, employee relations and compliance, talent acquisition, and technology transformation. Throughout my career, I have been involved at each of my companies to resolve or recommend transformational results ranging from technology adoption, business operations consolidation, go-to-market strategy impact analyses, M&A and divestitures to talent management and stewardship and the subsequent change management support for the organization. Additionally, for ten years, I served the broader HR community as a volunteer with the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) on the HR Certification Exam Development Panel.
I’m also an AGGIE! Executive MBA Class V (2005) and Class Agent. I have been a “Friend of Mays” since graduation, serving as an Aggie Mentor, representing my class on the EMBA Advisory Council and on the Curriculum Review Council. I have also served as executive coach for the Full-time MBA program and have been a guest speaker for several Executive MBA and Professional MS-HRM class sessions.
My Doctorate is in Business Administration (DBA) from DePaul University, and I’ve held my Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification since 1995.
I am thrilled to now join the Mays faculty as Clinical Assistant Professor. Looking forward to learning from all of you!
